Na Stráži Lookout
A popular lookout point with a viewing tower offers a magnificent panoramic view of Nový Bor, the Lusatian Mountains, and the more distant peaks of the Bohemian Central Highlands. The easy route is suitable for families and recreational hikers and will reward you with a beautiful view in every season.

Sloup Forest Theatre

Sloup Rock Castle and Forest Theater
This impressive rock castle carved into sandstone is one of the most romantic landmarks in Northern Bohemia. It offers a unique atmosphere, mysterious corridors, and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. It’s an ideal destination for a short trip combining history and nature.
Panská skála
This unique basalt formation, nicknamed “Stone Organ,” is one of the most famous natural monuments in the region. You can reach Panská skála by car, where there is paid parking, or for cycling enthusiasts, you can take a trip and climb a nice hill, where the view is worth it.
Havránky – Viewpoint on Nový Bor
Havránky is a popular walking spot just a short distance from our accommodation. This inconspicuous rock viewpoint offers beautiful views of the city, the surrounding forests, and the panorama of the Lusatian Mountains.
Mount Klíč (759 m a.s.l.)
Klíč is the highest peak of the Lusatian Mountains on the Czech side and is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region. The ascent from Nový Bor is a popular full-day hiking trip for nature lovers and active movement enthusiasts.
The route leads along forest paths and gradually connects to marked hiking trails. The final section is steeper and rocky, but you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views – in clear weather you can see Bohemian Switzerland, the Ještěd Ridge and the more distant peaks of the Bohemian Uplands.
The hike is suitable for more experienced hikers, expect approximately 15–18 km there and back depending on the chosen route. In summer, the shade of the forest is pleasing, in autumn the colorful landscape, and in winter Klíč has its unique charm with snowy scenery.
Tip: The trip can be shortened by car to the nearby village of Svor or Kytlice and only climb the final part of the route.
Česká Kamenice
A picturesque historical town with a beautiful square, burgher houses, and the Gothic Church of St. James. An ideal tip for an afternoon trip combined with a walk and a coffee in a café.
